At Heritage Optometry our optometrists, Dr. Linda Kuhn and Dr. Lynne Lu, are committed to providing quality vision care and outstanding customer service. Dr. Kuhn has been a long time advocate of children's vision and worked with York Region Lions clubs to help set up their Children's Vision Screening program. She won the Oao Public Education award in 2002. She was Chair of the Children's Vision Committee for many years. She obtained fellowship in the American Academy of Optometry in 1988. Dr. Linda Kuhn is a graduate of the University Of Waterloo School Of Optometry, 1984, holding both Doctor of Optometry and Bachelor of Science degrees. We also offer assessments for laser vision correction and co-management. We fit rigid gas permeable lenses as well. Our contact lens suppliers include well known soft lens brands such as Ciba, Johnson and Johnson, Bausch and Lomb and Cooper Vision. Our spectacle lenses are top of the line. We offer a well stocked dispensary, Oga, Boss, Armani, Fysh, carrying the latest frame styles from a wide variety of suppliers including but not limited to Guess, and Silhouette. Our goal is to provide you with the best vision possible for as long as possible. We are able to diagnose and monitor the progression of ocular conditions such as diabetic eye disease, to name a few, and strabismus, macular degeneration, glaucoma, using up to date skills and technologies including visual field testing and retinal photography. We strive to do our best to address all of your eye care concerns. She was a clinician with the Vision Institute of Canada and served on their Board of Directors, and has worked as a clinical examiner for the National Board of Examiners along with the College of Optometrists of Ontario.
