YourLife Financial was created in 2009 when I left Assante Capital Management after 10 years. What I found was at first people said they wanted to do a financial plan but when the work began, the process would start to fall apart. To me it was too focused on the numbers and not you as a person. When I left Assante to form YourLife Financial I was frustrated with the traditional approach to Financial Planning. While at Assante Capital Management I served as an assistant branch manager. It took me a while to understand what was happening and finally one day the light bulb went off.
